I am not changing my healthcare and technology blog into a travel diary. However, May, June, July, and August are busy for us. Earlier in May we spent four days in Nashville, and last week we spent a few days in Mystic, CT to celebrate our 57th anniversary. This weekend we will be taking two of our grandchildren to Paris for their first trip to Europe. In July, we are going to Rome and cruising for 16 days to Barcelona. On August 5th, we will be in Tarragona, Spain and will celebrate my 80th birthday. Info on past travels here.
In this section, I share what I am up to, pictures of the week, what is new in AI and crypto, and more.
I love to read books. All the books I have written and the books I have read are in profile. Feel free to view it here.
I finished reading Colum McCann’s Let the Great World Spin: A Novel. It was a complex novel. I gave it a 4-star on Goodreads.
Next I started reading Polostan: Volume One of Bomb Light. It was billed as a riveting historical epic of international espionage, intrigue, and the dawn of the atomic age. It is by bestselling author Neal Stephenson. I have read some of his other books, but this one was over the top. At 30% complete, I ditched it.
Now I am reading Quantum Supremacy: How the Quantum Computer Revolution Will Change Everything by Michio Kaku. So far, this book is excellent. Planning to finish it on flight to Paris.
