A Statistical Approach To Spam

Thanks to David Singer, IBM Distinguished Engineer, Internet Technology at the IBM Almaden Research Center in San Jose, California for telling me about a very interesting approach to reducing spam. It uses a statistical model and sounds like it could be quite effective. There is
a spam conference in Cambridge, MA, in January 2003.
