The Cruise is underway. I’ll make some comments on pictures to give you an idea of what is happening.
Alaska Airlines was a pleasure. The 737-800 had something I’ve never seen before, which is a pull-down place to put your devices and you can change the angle easily. You can also charge of course.
My nephew lives in Seattle. He recently retired after a great run as an executive with Amazon. He was kind enough to pick us up at the airport and take us to The Lotte Hotel. At a great restaurant called the Charlotte in the hotel. He also picked us up in the morning, helped us with the baggage, and sent us on our way the sea the Silver
Nova.
Being in Seattle, I could not resist but take a picture of Mount Rainier and Seattle port very busy with tourists.
boarding the ship, I saw the natural liquid gas tanker depart as the cruise ship was topped off. The Silver Sea has taken a number of actions to modernize their fleet. The most recent two ships, Silver Nova and Silver Ray, use natural gas as the primary fuel for the ship.
As promised, I sought help in the fitness center. Today, I met with one of the personal trainers for a one-on-one session. He was very aggressive in steps to strengthen my legs.
That’s it for now. I have additional pictures for the early part of the cruise and will add them to next week’s blog.
